I couldn't help myself. I had to take a peek at Jenny's Saturday Centus page at http://jennymatlock.blogspot.com/2011/06/saturday-centus-end.html. This week's prompt is only two words, The End and Jenny limited writers to 25 word writings this week. Surely I had time and energy to give that a shot! For more 25 word pieces and instructions to play, go to Jenny's page.
The End
Janelle couldn’t wait to get back to turning pages, to that feisty bad girl Scarlett. But suddenly there is was, the last page with The End.

Don't we all know the crestfallen feeling of reaching the end of a great book? Love your take on this prompt!
Namaste..........cj
Hi Claudia,
Very creative and clever. Makes me want to read what came before.

Some stories should never end...nice work...Peace and blessings
Some books you just can't put down. Nice.
Some times that does come too fast:@)
Don't you love finding the kind of book you never want to see end?
=)
Good job and so true...a great book is a wonderful adventure and the end always leaves you wanting more !
good stories should be unending indeed ;)
I hate when that happens!
I thought about writing one stunning paragraph, then The End...but figured all the good ones were already written.
If I love a good book I don't want it to end. Sometimes I call my local book store and ask if there is a sequel. Isn't that annoying?~Ames
There are so many book I read that end when I really want them to keep going, and going and going. Well done.
perfect use of the prompt! I feel this way at the end of a good book as well.
giggles.
is she willing to turn the pages?
very practical and fun piece.
well done,
Oh I know how that feels to get to the end of your book. Great idea for the prompt!
We know it's a great book when the end comes too soon. Great centus.
oh i know how she feels ... some books just end to soon!
Well, as Scarlett said, "Tomorrow is another day!" Some books are like that!
Well who wouldn't want to read more about feisty bad girls? LOL! Great take on the prompt, Claudia!
She can always try the sequel...lovely idea for the prompt.
Great prompt! I used Scarlett O'Hara's too. But I have only seen the film; now I must read the book!
(I read Rebecca recently and discovered what a wonderful author Daphne du Mauier was. There is so much in the book that is not in that very fine film. And then I read Jamaica Inn...)
Best wishes,
Anna
