Saturday Centus, Sixteen

It has been a long while since I have been able to attempt Centus, but this Saturday morning, I get up early and without a huge agenda. Jenny helped out by giving us a short assignment for writing: only 16 words. Those words should be about ourselves when we were 16. The first thing that comes to mind is how innocent and fresh I was so long ago! I think I will go with my first impression today, and if you want more shorties to read go to Jenny's blog at http://jennymatlock.blogspot.com/2011/12/saturday-centus-sixteen.html.

                                                                 Sixteen
Sixteen: fresh, undaunted, smooth and unwrinkled as new foil, ready to wrap myself around life.

  2. So true for most 16 year olds, thankfully. But not for all, sadly. Have a great week!

  5. Love the picture and truer words never spoken. Dreams at our feet, stars in our eyes and our head in the clouds :)

  15. Love this! AND the photo!! I was new foil once, but when it wrinkles, you just cannot smooth it out! Darn!!

  16. Yes Judie, but wrinkled foil is more faceted like a diamond and therefore reflects more light!
Beautiful picture Claudia. So young and vibrant!~Ames

  17. I loved this Claudia. What a gorgeous picture of you. I think at sixteen I couldn't even get out of the box without ripping and tearing.

    Sigh.

Hope your holiday season is going beautifully.

    Hugs and blessings.
